Canon have launched a webpage [Canon EOS 5D
Mark II Moon webpage] for the Canon EOS 5D Mark II release, which features the
slogan Destined EVOLUTION with a photograph of the moon and the new EOS 5D Mark
II sitting on the dark side of the moon, with most of the camera hidden by the
dark. This picture changes slightly, each day revealing slight more of the EOS 5D Mark II as the launch date draws closer at which point the camera will be fully revealed.
This is quite a novel marketing idea, full
points to Canon. I am sure most Canon enthusiasts are checking back at this
site a few times a day just as I am. So far looking at the progress there still might be a few more days before the camera is fully revealed, which contradicts recent leaks that were pointing to a possible Tuesday 16 September announcement date, as mentioned in my previous article:
Here is the latest shot of the partly
revealed Canon EOS 5D Mark II on the dark side of the moon.
Update after yesterdays post the Canon EOS 5D Mark II is now on the bright side of the moon fully revealed. What does that mean, well Canon have announced the Canon EOS 5D Mark II, follow my article post link below:
