It looks like Nikon may soon release an update to the Nikon D3, following in the lines of Canon’s latest release it is likely to be named the Nikon D3 2 or ( Nikon D3 Mark II J )

The following screenshots captured from the Nikon Germany website clearly shows the D3_2  in the product line up on the Nikon website.

I would not put too much faith in this being authentic, anyone can do this trick, just take a local copy of an official website, modify the html and wham-o we the Nikon D3 Mark VI, also the URL was not provided to authenticate the claim.

There is however something happening in the Nikon camp just look at the price drops and unavailability of the Nikon D3 across the internet, I am sure more will be revealed at the Nikon event on the 20^th of November.
