The Canon EOS 5D Mark II is so close to shipping in the US & Australia that I can almost smell that newly open camera box smell, Ummm and it smells so sweet. Reports are abound both on retailers and fan sites that we should see the first shipments within two weeks.

Northern Light Images has reported that B&H (who were not taking pre-orders) opened the flood gates accepting 30 order of the 5D Mark II before stopping additional orders, so they could confirm with Canon the numbers they have been allocated.

In Australia the reported ship date is the end of November.
